What a thrill! A great example of community learning, from the students to their teacher to the fabulous resources invited into the classroom! I cried, seeing a well documented model of learning.
I teach because I love learning, the process of sharing information is teaching but to share the love of discovery is pure joy!

I'm a teacher always looking for ideas. Just by surfing the net, I ran across this video. Mr. Guillot is definitely a master teacher in all respects. It would be "utopia" if ALL children had a Mr. Guillot as a teacher! Studying real life situations shows that the world is our best classroom!

Was researching for an article on Project-Based Learning for an education class, and happened upon this story.
Kudos to Mr. Guillot for getting his kids into the "real classroom of life" with Coastal Roots.
